Default What to do...?

I own a 1995 3000gt VR-4 with only 61k miles totally bone stock, even the air intake is stock. I'm getting deployed starting September so will have a few extra dollars as income I'm not sure which are reliable parts and what aren't reliable. I'm coming from the DSM scene (owned a 99 GSX) and a lot of the companies I relied on don't sell parts for the 3kgt. My main goal is weight lightening the car the 3700 pound brick needs to go on a diet. Looking for some lightweight wheels also. Though it would be nice to, have some horsepower under the car too. Target goal is ~3000 pounds and ~450 HP maybe 500. Also is a 99 front end conversion worth it? Like the way it looks but I've heard it’s a horror to do. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm unsure what’s reliable or not.

So far my shopping list:
Pit Road CF doors
CF Fenders
CF hood
CF Hatch
CF driveshaft
Raceing Seats
Toyo R888 tires

Check out the forum vendor sections for support.

99 front end is pretty easy to do and a popular conversion, sounds like some TD04-19T's would be a good choice of turbo for you if you're looking for that kinda power.

Welcome to the boards! Congrats on your car.

New shopping list:

TD04 Turbo's (unsure of whether to get the TD04 19T's or the 3sx custom)
3SX TD04 Header Kit
IPS TD04 FMIC Kit w/ HKS SSQV BOV
AEM Dry-flow Filters
Tanabe Exhaust Concept G-Blue

Blitz SBC-ID Boost Controller
Aexi Air/Fuel Controller

Now just need some good fuel equipment (could only find 3sx and IPS, 3sx is expensive and the IPS is incomplete could use a suggestion) I think this is pretty much it though...writting this at 12 so i probably forgot something
