Very unusual situation!!
Ok, ill try to make this quick and to the point, i can't figure this out!
-Bought a stealth turbo (stock) a few years ago.
-always had idle problems when warmed up
-seller told me it was because of a bad engine temperature sensor
-did research, found it could be ISC or Boost leak
-Made boost leak tester and fixed major leaks
-With lack of knowlage of this car I stumble but fixed the following: timing belt, transmission, serpontine belt, ac display, ac compressor, cruise control unit and stuck throttle cable, oil cooler. and a few misc things because it need this.
-I changed the coolant GAUGE sensor thinking it was the Engine temperature sensor. (later realized this they were 2 different things)
When I did this the car will not start. Very confused thinking this does not affect the starting of a car, just the temp gauge right?
anyways, with everything togeather i reach in there and unplug it. crank it over a few times and IT STARTS!! While its running I plug it back in, the car stays running. As soon as I shut it off and try to start it again it wont fire!
**I HAVE NOTICED WHEN UNPLUGGING GAUGE SENSOR WHILE OFF I HEAR A CLICKING NOISE LIKE SOMETHING IS MOVING LIKE AN A SMALL MOTOR FOR A VALVE OR SOMETHING??**
I hope this is something simple that im overlooking and not a bad ECU, ISC
Thanks for your help anyone
