Just got my 92 stealth rt/tt, and im just figuring out the kinks of a 16 year old car, one of them is it starts a little hard. In saying that its never failed to start, but it does take a little coaxing. It cranks, sounds fine, and until you give it a touch of gas, or sometimes just wait a second it just cranks. It does it cold, and occasionaly warm. Anyone got any ideas? Did a search and it doesnt sound like click thing that seems to be a common problem...
Thanks! |

Slow starting could be the starter, battery, or alternator.
If it's breaking up a bit giving it gas, give it a boost leak test, or possibly replacing the plugs. The "click thing" is lifter tick. It (arguably) won't cause any harm, but is quite annoying.
