Will a 92 transmission fit into a 93 car? Thats my only question.

As far as I've read all 1st,2nd,3rd gen transmissions are swappable so you should be fine putting a 92 into a 93 or 94, but the 5 speed (1st gen) supposedly have malfuntions, so most put a 6 speed in the 1st gens instead of a 5 speed in the 2nd and 3rds.

91-93 are all interchangeable parts. as long as you are not trying to put a vr-4 trans in a n/a car, even thought thats what i did. but any thing on the 91 n/a car will fit on a 92 and 93. as long as it is the same gen it will work. i say go for it.

You can fit anything into anything if you take the time to make them fit. Im pretty sure all DOCH NA FWD transmissions are interchangeable. The AWD ones need the corresponding x-fer case and drive shaft.

What model is your car and what model is the transmission from?

Why would you want to go from the '93 25-spline tranny to the '92 18-spline?
