Sputtering at High RPMs - Page 2 - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head after owning that car is, somehow u could be overboosting... The car was only street tuned, and as far as my understanding goes, the tune can change as the weather changes...someone can correct me if i'm way off... but if you are overboosting and u r starting to get detonation, go get it tuned!! After taking the plugs off that'll tell you a lot by how they look.

So in this case just take the front plugs off (very easy to do) and see if they r fried at all.... Post some pics of them

I'll def try and check into that soon. Using that site perviously posted, I'm sure I could tackle the job. I'm somewhat knowledgable with my Mitsu Montero and have an idea. Or better yet, IF you have any spare time, I could swing by your place Terry? If you have a free weekend or day? This "lil problem" has already come and gone 3 separate times, weird huh?

Everything is weird with these cars... haha i warned u about that when u first took interest in it
