Although Hen04, if you're willing to dump the level of cash IPO has, I doubt you'll regret that, either.
Actually chris didnt dump that much money, remember this is "the low buck race car" him and his bartaring skills! lol

Quit trying to tell the guy the N/A's are less reliable; if anything, it's the opposite. Yes, there are tt's that last a long time but not the majority. They weren't exactly designed to be reliable, just fast, etc. This is the ONLY reason I have held off getting a vr4. It's hit or miss, and I'm not going to take a chance (since I have only one car). Well, I take that back, they MAY have been reliable when first made, but you won't ever be able to buy one brand new now and the reliability highly depends on previous ownership. So, be careful if you get a vr4, make sure 60k and/or 120k were done, make sure the transfer case was taken care of, etc. Like I said, I'd get a vr4 in an instant if I could rest assured that they are not going to break on me. Now, to answer your question, the N/A models are still a little quicker than your average car, but aren't anywhere near tt models in terms of power. If you want to run with the big boys you have to get a vr4. If on the other hand you just like the looks and comfort of the car, get the SL or base model. Either way, you're still riding in style.
i beg to differ, if you take care of it and make sure its in perfect running condition then yes it can be better than a n/a, granted you have more moving parts but turbo engines are much more efficient than n/a engines

I was really excited about doing Project Showcar a while back but a friend of mine called me about a 93 RT-TT and wanted me to come check it out. After I drove it and got back in my car, it felt like my car was handicapped lol. Only thing that I'm worried about is the luxury of having an automatic in heavy traffic situations. I guess that'll be cured after I probably will be putting about 500 miles on it within the first week I own it on getting used to driving manual again. My vote is to get a rt-tt/vr4. Just make sure you have at least a grand for the 'hazard fund.' My .02 cents
