Default Power windows won't go up or down

I have a 1997 SL and I have my driver side window down and my passenger side window up. Neither windows will move when I push either the passenger or driver side buttons. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need the driver's side window up asap.

Similarly, my passenger window doesnt move very much at all, and the driver's window is quite slow. Also, the driver's window pulls the interior rubber fitting up and out. Is there an easy way to get the weather stripping to stay in place better? Glue or clips or something?

Are my windows just off track or are the motors toast?

If your windows arent moving at all, isn't it safe to geuss that the motors are probably toast?

Most likely it's your window regulator. There's a plastic piece at the top of the window track where the cable for the motor connects to the frame. It needs to be solidly mounted there, but they are known for cracking or breaking completely off causing the cables to get pinched and no longer work. Good luck with yours. I had my driver's side one fail on the 1,350 mile trip home with the car from GA. I ended up stuck with it partially down during an Indiana, Illinois, & Wisconsin flooding downpour. Yeah, it sucked royally. Another reason, which usually isn't the case, could be your switches are worn enough to not get a good contact anymore. That was the problem with my passenger side one. A quick fix would be to clean the contacts by pulling the switch apart, but I'd go ahead and look at the regulators first. You'll need to pull the door panel(s) off first to see if that's the problem. Check stealth316.com for the procedure on that. it's pretty simple to do, just take your time and don't forget to disconnect both connections on the door (courtesy light & switches).

I'd order a new set of inner door weatherstripping 'cause you won't really get it to stay there with glue. 3sx.com has them available for like $50 a piece.

A bad motor is not necessarily the reason for the windows not working. It's usually that small plastic clip at the top of the channel that breaks and pinches the cable, causing the motor to not operate correctly.

For the original poster, here's an auction for a proper working one:
eBay Motors: 91 Mitsubishi 3000GT/Stealth Driver Front Window Motor (item 280194857319 end time Jan-29-08 21:11:16 PST)
Personally, I'd get a rebuilt assembly from Window Regulator USA out of Brooklyn, NY. I purchased both of mine through him (Alex) and they look and function perfectly. The best part is it comes out to ~$135 for the driver's side and ~$125 for the passenger side after you ship him your old, broken ones...Much cheaper than new, unreinforced factory regulators at $280 a piece!

If it was the regulators or motors would it cause both the windows to stop working at the same time. The windows went up and down fine and the all of a sudden stoped working for me. No sign of a weak motor or anything. I also noticed my power driver's seat stopped working too. Is the only fuse for the windows located under the hood, on the fuse diagram it is a 30a and it was fine.

It's obvious you have some electrical issues since both the windows and power seat aren't operating. I guess I looked at another person's reply and that's where I got into the whole thing about faulty regulators. I don't remember if there is also a fuse that's linked to the switches under the dash, but pop the cover off and make sure there aren't any blown fuses there. I'd get a multimeter in there and check to see if your are getting power to the switches and go from there.
As for the guy with the bouncing window problem, check the tracks and make sure they have plenty of grease/lube on them. Mine did that a little after putting my new regulator in, but both of the outer tracks were bone dry. I put a bunch of white lithium grease on them along with the guides and it's probably 98% better.

Has anyone thought to check the obvious and look at the window lock?
