The windows have been working fine, no problem with going up slow or acting weird. Just today, when I was out i tried to roll down my windows but couldn't. I came on the board to see what it could be and I saw that the power seats can go out with the windows too, as its in the same circuit. Went out to check and sure enough they were out too.
I know its an electrical issue, because when I try replacing the fuse it shorts out right away. As above, if anyone has experienced something similar...please let me know what it was and what worked for you. Thanks |

so i have almost the same problem , no electrical issues but the driver side window , passenger works and so does the chair , i first had this problem awhile back it would go up it was about half way up. then when i got irrated i left the car and the window went up by itself , i have an alarm system so if the windows are down they go up and lock, so i thought it was ok, i tried to bring the driver window down and it wouldnt budge couldnt hear anything , tried the passenger switch on the driver side and worked? so next i got a second switch replaced it and still doesnt move or nothing ,!

If both windows and the power seat don't work check the fuse first, otherwise it's wiring from the distribution block. Windows and seat are on the same circuit. It's one of the 30A (IIRC) block fuses in the under hood fuse block.
