just put the bolts thru and see where you have to put them so they all stick out the same lenth.

in the meantime, ill check the manual for you.

edit - didnt see it in the manual, or in caps

Also how many long bolts, medium bolts, and short bolts should there be?
I bought a new set but something does not seem right. Just wanted to check with someone. I know they all have the 4 stamped in the head of them but that really does not help much.

Sorry buddy, but if you cant put a bolt in and see how far it sticks out to determine which goes where, maybe you shouldnt be wrenching.

Please dont take offense. The job isnt very hard.

Did that with my last block and unfortunately it broke off inside. That's why I don't wanna take any chances.

SO did the bolt break from being the wrong one, for having a defect or from over torqueing?

I believe it was because it was rusty inside there and it was forced in. Or that I know there is 7 bolts but 5 of them go in first then the tensioner goes in and one of them could have been forced. Mistake in my part.... But this new 4 bolt block is going great
