So I changed my oil last night, started the car and saw the low oil light go on so i shut off the car. Next thing i know theres a puddle of oil on the ground.
The drain bolt was back in and the filter was on tight. I checked for the old gasket and no sign of it remaining on the car and it seemed like it was still on the old filter. Any idea why this happened? I change oil in my DD and never have had an issue. |

Im not too sure, the car is stuck in gear so i had to be in the car to hold the clutch in, by the time i got out of the car it had stopped dripping. I think it may be from around the filter. Not sure if theres a hole or something defective with it, i didnt check that part out in too much detail.

did u rub oil on the seal of the new filter before screwing it on? I forgot to do that... once
