OEM Exhaust help

Hi all!!!

here in montreal, canada...cops are giving out to all freeflow mufflers...all aftermarket even straight from factory SRT4

in order to be legal if ur car comes factory freeflow...ur allow to change to aftermaket freeflow...still ticketed...but have to fight it in court to win...anyway

my question (mainly to owner that still have oem muffler...applies to tt version):

does the VR4 or GTO...(TT) have straight tru muffler???
do we have pic that actually show the internal of actual oem muffler???

No, the muffler is not straight thru, it is chambered. And don't forget about the 3 catalytic converters as well. You guys have emissions testing?

depends on the cop...if he suspect u dont have catalic converter...he ll call transport canada to do emission test on the spot...and that only ... it will cost u an arm and a leg...around 10k$ fine

go to a garage and ask for an emission test and reciept with the result, this way you can produce this to any cop that stops you

We get raped with emissions up here, I haven't been hassled at all though, but I'm in a different province, how can they ticket you and perform a road side emissions test if you guys (Quebec) don't have annual emissions to begin with? Seems kind of an oxymoron.
