don't know if I can help, but nobody else seems to be replying so here goes.

where/who did you buy them from? what has their response been to the problems? are they/you sure they're the right remotes for your car? I have a 95 VR-4 with the factory remotes and there is no panic button. as far as the numbers go, I have no idea, check with a dealer. here is a link on a thread where I posted a source for replacement remotes cheaper than the dealer.

http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=187116

good luck.

And to sorta answer your first question
Yes they have to be "ALMOST" the same.
My 94 R/T's remote has e4eg8da as a FCC #
the reciever had e4eg8db on it. They are 308.0 MHZ
I think the 95 uses a e4eg8de ?
and then the reciever has a e4eg8df.
They are 307.9 MHZ
I had the hardest time geting the right one for my car.
Hope you can find one easier?
Rgds
Joe

I would like to thank those who assisted in updating this info and welcome any other info.
Lets post this (AGAIN)

For some 92 all 93,94,and some 95's Two button
The numbers are:
FCC ID# E4EG8DA.......OMRON G8D-281M-A As they use on EBAY
The receiver for this is Part#MB920442

For some 95 and 97 all 96 Three button
The numbers are:
FCC ID# E4EG8DA.......OMRON G8D-281M-A As they use on EBAY
The receiver for this is Part#MR318453
Note: The two remotes and or receivers above will work in either application

For some 97 all 98 and all 99 Three button
FCC ID# E4EG8DL.......OMRON G8D-494M-A As they use on EBAY
The receiver for this is Part#MR318470
Note:I took apart a 97 SL that had no receiver, the plug was there. Must have been when they started cutting costs.

You can put the later receiver in the earlier car and it will work all but panic.
I'm sure I can run a wire and trigger the alarm with this, but there is no wiring diagram for this circuit in the resources I have. So you would have to use a meter and check the receiver pins while activating panic. Hopefully it is a grounding circuit so the hatchback switch wire would work.

These are claimed to work but do not work:
OMRON G8D-404M-A Galant
OMRON G8D-426M-A
OMRON G8D-525M-A
GQ43VT6T They also claim this is a 3000gt remote if it is it may be 99. To date I have not seen one car that has this #. Can anyone help out with this?

I just bought one of those remotes...GQ43VT6T, supposedly is was out of a 95 3000 gt sl, but I can't get it to work..Looks identical to the two button remote but with the third button. Upon taking apart my two button remote, you can see where the third connection is on the circuit board, but this is no button...

BTW mine is a 94 sl

Anyone have any ideas on getting this to work?

My 99 has the one YOU list - not the ones claimed to work on Ebay. So if they are for 99's it might be a VR4.

Actually from what I'm gathering, these GQ43vt6t, might be mostly eclipse and stealth remotes...maybe a few made it over to the 3000's. My understanding is they are mostly eclipse and Dodge remotes.

New info, its Eclipses, Talon and Chrysler Sebrings.

Give up on that third button. It won't work on your car. You have to get the right one on that list. and give that guy on ebay bad feedback.
