Alright you guys I'm interested in buying a 95 3kgt it has 166k miles and its a manual N/A the owner claims it overheats at idle but doesn't overheat while on freeway or something...also owner claims he sometimess goes to turn on car and it doesn't click at all but then opens door and turns on fine...what would cause these issues on the vehicle? Answers before tomorrow are greatly appreciated as hewants to sell it to a dealership
Overheating at idle could be a bad t-stat as well as bad radiator fans. The other issue is probably just coincidence that it starts after he opens the door. It's probably an issue that can be solved with the click-click-start fix. Search for it and you'll find a how-to.

hes asking 1600 for it....good buy or no? also what would be a good way to test for a bad radiator fan? cuz i can take out a thermostat in these cars no problem
