Default Is my car worth saving?

Just got this car last Tuesday (a week ago) and just learned tonight that my subframe is destroyed. On the drivers side front lower control arm mount the forward most mounting ear is completely snapped off the sub frame. No longer does it just need lower control arm bushings. List of crap the car needs:
Power steering pump
Steering rack
Drivers cv shaft
Drivers sway bar mount
Trans rebuild 5 spd (leaking)
o2 sensor
Lower control arm bushings
Wheel bearing on drivers side
Injectors
60k service
Sub frame (and all the other shit that has to be done at this time like motor mounts, gaskets, sub frame bushings ect.)

On top of all this it needs front seats, wheels and tires, and paint. Part it out or save it? Only 145k on it, all original.

Im still to frustrated tonight to make a decision, but thats what I was thinking. Im going to find out how much it would cost to get it welded, if it even can. Then sell it and buy a different 3k. Previous owner completely screwed me. My fault for not being a 3k expert I guess. Lesson learned.

I'm sure you can find another one, an SL or better yet a VR4. I'm left without words, sorry for your loss. You do have the option of keeping it if you wish, with sufficient income almost anything can be fixed. Hang in there, work and save up. Best of luck on your decision.

This is your best answer. The car isn't entirely worthless though, you can still part it out or just use it as a parts car if you decide to get another 3000GT. Hope you didn't lose much cash on it.

Im up in south eastern MN. Well right around 5 grand is what I estimate my loss at. (I traded two jetskis for it). But those skis where in perfect shape and worth 2 and half each. I didnt even want this car, i just took it in thinking it would be a good start to the platform and I was going to sell it in a year or two anyways to get the VR4 I actually wanted. Ill keep you guys posted on what I end up doing with it. Might be a while though as funds are tight for a bit.

What shape is the rest of the car in?

What could potentially save you is to just source a new shell. These cars are pretty easy to come by, especially shells. If you are confident you have a good running car, but the chassis is garbage, maybe you just swap into a new chassis?
