Default Intrsument Panel Lights

I was driving on the interstate and the instrument panel lights just went out. First, I thought it was just the dimmer but that did not work. My gauges in the center, the tail lights, and my tripod on the a-pillar all work. Also, the needles on the panel light up, and so does the odometer. What could be the problem?
