You could modify your car and make it awesome and bada$$!

I bet there are some mufflers out there that could give your car a nice throaty growl. Of course, if you get smoked by the ricer it won't matter what it sounds like. Maybe invest in a magnaflow muffler or something? idk I'm sure someone else will chime in and have some advice on an aftermarket muffler or something.

I've heard some v6 camaros that sounded decent with just performance mufflers basically.

Save your money and buy a turbo and run it open downpipe and open wastegate, it'll be the meanest sounding thing on the road haha.

You seem a tad bit concerned with making ricers look dumb with your muffler sound. FYI our cars make ricers cream themselves just with looks so I'm not quite sure what your motive is here. Don't do this to impress anyone... do it for you.

If a "ricer" comes up to you and revs his engine, aren't you going to have to be fairly quick with your auto to put it in neutral and rev back?

Lets just stick with exhaust options as you would most likely drown yourself trying to fab up a supercharger setup in a 3K... not many have done it because it is extremely difficult to setup, tune, and maintain.

With that being said, I've heard a lot of great things with the Flowmaster single in/dual out as well. Go for that and see how you like it. As said in prior posts, you can install a high flow cat/test pipe, gut your precats or install a DP without any, or even go full cat back.

In a post above, the OP said that he thought he would have to do a supercharger instead of a turbo conversion because he has a SL with an automatic.
