Stealth316 should be your new Bible .EDIT: Make sure to plug up the lower plenum with rags, it's very easy to drop things down there and several engines have been ruined from it!

You don't need a tutorial, changing the plugs is very easy, even for a turbo vr4 or tt. It takes about an hour the first time you do it, and about half that the next few times. The main trick is learning to leave everything hooked up to the plenum (except the injector harness, throttle cable, etc) and lift it up and support it with a block of wood so you can get behind it and get the rear 3 plugs out.
the front three plugs are about as easy as it can be. The rear 3 require removing the 6 long bolts thru the plenum and fuel rail, removing the intercooler piping from the rear turbo to the braided hose along the drivers side of the engine to near the plenum (just undo clamp and lift up to remove, the pipe has one bolt that holds it to the turbo housing. (Definitely stuff a rag in the hole that is left when you remove the intercooler pipe, or it is easy to drop stuff in their and screw things up) Get a 2x4 about 12 inches long, and use it to wedge/support the plenum as high as it will go without trashing anything still hooked up to it. The board can sit against the valve cover if you want, as long as it doesn't block the holes to the plugs. Use an extension to your plug socket and yank the plugs, change them with new ones and reconnect everything. Definitely replace the rear plugs any time you go to the trouble to look at them. When you unbolt the plenum, and lift it up, you'll see the intake, which is actually the lower part of the plenum, you will see 6 large holes staring up at you, it is recommended to lay a cloth over these holes just to be safe. usually you can change the plugs without ruining the gasket that goes on the plenum. But if it is worn out or torn, replace it.

ok, that is what im gonna do tommrow. gonna replace gasket, and look at the plugs. the main reason im gonna do it the hard way and disconnect everything is, cause the problem ive been having. ever since i took my car to get plugs changed a while ago ive been having a problem, when i hit 4k or so rpm my car feels like it runs out of gas. my mech said it was a bad ecu, and it couldn't be repair and we cant find a new one. so im just gonna try to redo what the OTHER mech did.

if you disconnect everything, you take the chance that you won't reconnect something properly and end up with the same problem you started with. More than likely there is a leak somewhere. Do you notice excessive boost? if so it could be as easy as a loose vacuum hose on the ypipe. Excessive boost could cause the injectors to run dry under full boost around 4k rpm. That is where i notice mine do the same thing if my boost on 13Gs is over 14 psi. I have to keep it lower, around 11psi to reduce that from happening. OR i could go to bigger injectors and fuel management.

is there a simple way to check for leaks? my other mech did say he thought it was over boosting, but he blames the ecm.
i got a new interesting problem. on a cold start SOMETIMES, my car will drop its rpm really low like under 500rpm and few times turn off. could i have a spark plug problem that wouldn't show up on a computer diagnostic? and some times, after i put gas it takes a while for my car to turn on. it will just turn and turn and turn then turn on, and work fine after that.
