So, I'm out to see one of my "prospect" females
, and I get into my car ('92 Stealth R/T NA), and the damn key decides that it doesn't want to turn. I literally tried for about 45 minutes before it finally caught and turned. At that point I realized I wouldn't be going out with the possibility of being stuck. So thinking that maybe it was just fluke, I turned off the car and took the key out. I put the key back in and once again nothing. I even tried the spare. I tried beating the steering wheel column thinking that maybe it was just the locking, nope, nothing, nada. So because of this crap, I missed out on a great night... It never gave trouble before, although I've only had this car for about two weeks now. Am I going to have to get some pricey locksmith to check it out or is there something I can do myself?? Please help!!!! ![]() |

When it does that grab the steering wheel and pull down to release the steering wheel lock. Thats why the key wouldn't turn.
