Default Help sunroof swap

I've got a '93 S base with the ordinary plain roof.
I've also got the entire roof from an '92 R/T w/ the large sunroof/moonroof. It was cut from the lower pillars and I've got all the hardware and trim, interior and exterior. I want to install this roof on the '93. What's the best way to do this swap/upgrade? Should I swap the pillars, too?

I dont advise cutting your roof to put in the sun roof. They never seem to seal correctly if not done from the factory.

I personally would not call DustinP's targa "totalled", especially since he ended up selling it for over $15k.

I don't have pictures yet, but it is going to be cut from the bottom of the A pillars and B pillars. So I can do anything I wish as far as installation. I originally was going to go targa with the Stealth but decided to go sunroof, and do the targa on a 3000gt. So my question is not "if", but "how" someone experienced with r/r of our car's roofs would approach this sunroof conversion.
Is "skinning" the roof from the windshield header back and welding in the replacement a workable option?

There are companies that do aftermarket moonroof installs... My aunt and Uncle had it done on there lincoln. Everything has been fine and it was close to 3 years ago. I dont think i would swap out an entire roof. there are too many seals to mess with. Take it to a shop that does moonroofs/sunroofs and let them work on it. It shouldn't be much more than 600 for a sunroof. I think electroc roonroofs run around 1200.
