Check the tubes from the hatch drains to make sure they are draining outside the car, I have heard of the tubes coming undone, and draining into the panal behind the hatch trim pieces. Also check the seal around the hatch.

They connect to the bottom side of the drains, which are are at the angle where the edge of the hatch turns up along the back side of the b-pillar. The drain tubes pass behind the trim, and poke through the bottom of the car in the fender... make sure they are not disconnected or loose inside the car... you can try pouring water down the drain, and seeing if it comes out under the car.

Thanks for your help. My drain hoses were both ripped and came off the nipple.
