Nothing noted here about if a sunroof may be involved. On one I was working on the water dripped down onto the console.

Maybe not much help, but, if your A/C drain was plugged, it should be getting the passenger side wet.

When your rear floor pan fills with water, it is always, Always, ALWAYS the rubber seal around your window - well, it has been in my experience.

I have had to replace the black car's window seal twice, and both times the symptom was identical to yours... water in the rear floor pan. (once it even made it to about 1/2 inch deep!

The part is pricey (mitsu charges more for parts that need replacing more often) it will run you about $60+ (as opposed to the rubber seal along the bottom 3 sides of the door, where its metal to metal, and gets NO sun damage, it is only about $20)

It is easy to change, and should fix you right up.

I know its already been said, but can you re-check the drains on the sides of the trunk? (if there is ANY standing water there, I would get a long thin straight object and see if you run any JUNK out...)

Bob.

Did you replace the door seals?

make sure the drains in the sides of the hatch are clear and draining like they are supposed to.
