Default Halogens 92 Stealth

hey guys, I looked around in the fourm for ideas on lights, which I have no idea about them, but everyone else has the cool looking headlights and mine are the square headlights. So what I am asking is 2 things.

Is it possible to switch from my squares to the newer look and it not be expensive, and for now I would like to buy halogens but what would be good for the square head lights ?

My son and I just put HID's on his 93 VR4 (both fogs and low beams).

About $175 total cost and SEVERAL hours to get them right, but I have to admit, they look awesome (I'll have to do the same to my Stealth at some point down the road..).

Yes, it requires you to buy "empty" headlights (we got ours on ebay) and the bulbs fit into them (H4 for the lows and H3 for the fogs). The fogs fit into the stock housings, you just have to do some connector changes...

You can read a little about what we did here....

Curious as to what these HID's look like? Pictures inside

PM "OhioSpyderman's Kid" he'd be happy to tell you all the gorey details

Bob.

EDIT...it may take him a while to respond, our internet has been down at the house (and in our city) since Sunday (we had a HUGE wind storm all day long).

For the fogs, there's a nice area just behind the fogs that we used the supplied mounting straps and used self-tapping screws and mounted them there (one on each side).

As for the headlight, we removed the inner fender well and located those on a brace that goes from the fender to the frame (we used ties wraps to hold them in place there).

If you plan to use the HID's from the guy that we bought ours from, make SURE you ground those ballasts. With those kits, ungrounded ballasts play havok with your alternator!
