i have a 3000gt Base model, was thinking about going TT, but having serious doubts about it, so my question is should i go TT or should i save my money and try and sell the car to get a VR-4? i read a lot of threads where ppl either just go TT but costs about $5K+ and have a decent car or go VR-4... i want to have a daily driver that i can push to go fast every once in a while for some street races with my friend that owns a 00' Celica GT-S, but not be a complete racer to where i destroy Vipers.. i want to save money, my car has 82,7XX miles not really a high milage car and got it for $3.5k.. what would be the estimates for going TT or VR-4 with a higher milage?

Well you could probably take a Celica GT-S with N/A mods, really. If not, some spray will take care of the gap, no problem. Otherwise, I strongly suggest simply going to a VR-4, that is, if you can afford to buy one that isn't completely ratted out.

FWD TT is a cool project, but it's not easy or cheap. So really it's your call. FWD TT will be faster from a roll since it's lighter and has less drivetrain loss but a VR-4 will be faster out of the hole and handle better since it's AWD. But I would say go with a VR-4.

Same boat here, I'm going to drive my N/A for a couple years and buy a modded VR4 down the road.

You don't have much into your base and it will sell if its mechanically sound.
Save up for 93 1st gen tt and depending on which viper thats as easy as 15g class upgrade or tdo5 upgrade for the later 6xx hp viper.
