I have a 91 es that runs perfect except it will not pass emissions because it smokes(white) when you step on the gas. I am thinking about gettin a new engine and was wondering if i would be able to sell my old one. It has 136k miles on it and like i said it runs perfect the only thing is that it is burning oil or something makeing it smoke. (mostly smokes if you leave the car running while stopped for a while then touch the gas.) Leave me an email if you are interested. bparlette@yahoo.com

If i remember right; white smoke is usually caused by a water leak. You might want to check you water pump or something similar. Don't trash a good engine just because it wont pass emissions.
