Default engine for sale???????

I have a 91 es that runs perfect except it will not pass emissions because it smokes(white) when you step on the gas. I am thinking about gettin a new engine and was wondering if i would be able to sell my old one. It has 136k miles on it and like i said it runs perfect the only thing is that it is burning oil or something makeing it smoke. (mostly smokes if you leave the car running while stopped for a while then touch the gas.) Leave me an email if you are interested. bparlette@yahoo.com
thanks
brad

If i remember right; white smoke is usually caused by a water leak. You might want to check you water pump or something similar. Don't trash a good engine just because it wont pass emissions.

yeah i going to have my uncle take a quick look at it on the lift. Can you tell if it is the head gasket just by looking under the car or do you have to take the heads off and everything.

Default valve seals

it sounds like valve seals are bad on it.
