Default emanage blue

hope someone can help on this
emanage is not connected to car
Im trying to see what is on emanage on my home pc
have got proper cable and emanage tools but when connected to computor cannot see anything
All i want to do is take alook at the security settings to clear it so I can do some corrections
how do you run the emanage cables connected, but no power scourceto the main unit so as the computor can recognise it and then I can look in e/tools
At present cant do any thing
DO I have to have power to the emanage

you cannot view whats on the emanage unless its powered up which means hooking it up to your car. no other way around it.

how about hooking 12v battery to the positive and ground wire on the harness
will that do it

yes i guess you could but why.... just install it in your car and hook a laptop up to it and use it like its meant to be used....

but cant get the security code off to reset it so that I can try to retune the afr
also dont have a laptop this is why the thing is in house
