The ABS system should not have anything to do with your idling issues. Does the car still idle at 2k after it's warmed up? When you first start the car it will usually idle at around 2k and then slowly back off to around 700-800 once it's fully warmed up.

engine idle has nothing to do with Antilock Brakes
Main culprit of idle Problems Vacuum Leaks Idle Air Control Motor (idle speed control) Bad ECU (hope its not this) Vacuum leaks Try turning down your Idle screw to see if you can adjust it a bit, sometimes you can make up for a bad idle air motor by allowing less air to flow around it.

ive already figured this out - Any speed over 7mph, idles at 2000 rpm - but the idle only changes maybe once or twice a day for 10 minutes or so - ive already taken out the abs fuse - my srs light is on also - there is a chance my ecu is bad since my srs light came on right after my car was jumped incorrectly and shortly after the abs light did the same...(how do i check on the ecu?)

Ecu is under your dash, well, the center console. Remove the center console carpet trim on the driver's side and passenger's side to get at the bolts holding the ECU in place.
Once you get it out, you can look at the board to see if the capacitors are leaking onto the board. It will be pretty obvious if the damage is bad enough to actually cause these problems |

The SRS light is almost certainly due to the bad jump start rather than the ECU. It's a very common problem with the SRS system. Whenever the SRS system tries to run it's self test (it does this every time it gets ignition power) it checks to see the incoming voltage and if it's too low it will trip the SRS light. Some people have had luck turning the key in the ignition 10 times to reset it, but I personally and I know a few other people had to take the car to the dealer to reset it.
