Default Changing carpet from tan to charcoal

I’m not sure what section this would go in so I figure the newbie area would be best. I’m wondering how hard it would be to remove tan carpet interior and replace it with the grey charcoal carpet. The entire carpet mold looks to be about $130 on ebay. Also, roughly what would the price be to reupholster the tan leather seats to black? Has anyone done this before?

Yes as seen above, many people have changed their leather seats to different colors. The group buy is a good suggestion, though you'll have to install it yourself or pay fairly decent money to have someone else do it.

As for carpeting:
Honestly? You know what is way cheaper? Just dye your carpet yourself. There is a thread on it in one of the interior subforums. It's like maybe 10 bucks in "Ryt" dye I think it's called.

I paid $600 for those seats, installed by the upholstery shop. I heard it is such a pain inthe a$$ to do it your self. He had mine done in 2 days.

As for dyeing, i wouldnt recommend it
#1 it feels hard
#2 turns greenish
