Ok, well we are 75% sure the knocking noise in my other thread is a rod, or something else in the block, not the head.
I have pretty much decided to buy a motor. Has anyone used the ebay companies that are selling motors "imported from japan" ? I have a 1994 3kGT SL with a 3.0 in it, with auto transmission. Will a 6G72 or 6G74 motor work with no modification? I also found a 3.5 liter out of a Pajero, and was wondering if that will fit as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
