I know im a noob for asking this, but what does taht mean? I see it everywhere

It means bumping the thread to the top.

As new threads get posted the thread that you create will migrate down to the bottom of the list of active threads and people will tend to look at the thread less. When people post with bump they are creating a new post so the thread is currently more active than all the other threads and will be displayed at the top of the forum again causing more people to see it.
