I really like the Borla, but I hate the tips

the best thing to do is to have a custom one made, and I am totally serious

A custom exhaust would be the way to go if you want to stick with the duals but if you want the least restrictive then go with the maximal performance single shot. The single shot is really cheap cut down to $210. Here's a link for you if you want to check it out Maximal Performance - Maximal Performance 2.5" NA Single Shot Exhaust

I'm lookin for one too. I think i'm going dual, mostly custom based around a flowmaster muffler. Sounds more muscular which i like better, depends what you like best.

flowmaster #9425400 is what i liked. Watch youtube so you find what sounds good to you

That's what I did, and I don't regret it.

thanks for all the advice, i was thinking of buying a borla but i really don't like the tips either. So i think i'm gonna go custom with flowmaster mufflers.

Thanks

Here's my youtube vid of mine. Flowmaster muffler under rear seat with a test pipe and all other resonators removed. This exhaust sounds deep and throaty and has a very nice tone under load. Sounds really nice while engine braking. No fart can ricey sound. Best sounding exhaust I've heard for the NA. Cost me $180 installed with new piping not including tips. Model #9425400

And here's the Magnaflow on my buddy's NA. More fartcan type of sound. He changed over to Borla and got the same kind of sound.
