Default ATX Shift Knob Questions

so i had a redline goods auto boot on my old stealth. i loved it, made it look good and stopped it from looking like a "donkey dick"

im going to pick up another boot from them regardless for my 3k. but i have a few questions about knobs:

1. will the OEM mitsu manual knob fit in the atx knob's location? has anyone tried this? i like the oem mtx knob because its pretty well contoured and looks good.

2. anyone have any pics of their setup. ive seen some good knobs that i like with no button (the knob itself moves) but id like to see what anyone has before i think about picking one up..

and no bull saying "get a manual", i can drive stick and in fact plan to to the conversion at somepoint, there wasnt any when i bought mine, and i love my car the way it is.

you could do what i did in both my 3s's.

MITSUBISHI 3000GT shift boot source - RedlineGoods shift boots

makes the stick appear smaller, makes it look like a manual. best of all if u get the matching ebrake and shifter boot, looks very good. well worth the money. great quality.
