Yeah, aren't Gtech's great? My friends VR4 Spyder, completely bone stock, ran a 12.4 on gtech. Course, the best he could manage on a real track is 13.9 while he was bone stock, but ya know...

Well its not exactly stock.3000r.p.m stall, shift kit,u.d.p.,the gtech was used to compare the stock(baseline) to the mods.Anyway I have been able to take a consistant 1/2 sec off my best time before the trans work.B.T.W. the run where the gtech clocked me at 15.01 my speedo was over 100 m.p.h.It seems the way the car runs is very inconsistant. Some time you can feel a difference in the way it runs.Tonight 78deg. 91% humidity=shit city.16.01,15.99,15.62,15.8x the car produced fair 0-60 times but it really seemed to slow down after that. You need to consider the source. My car will never be fast. Its a 3liter automatic. The only thing I am trying to do is chip away the difference between the manual and the automatic. No shit about the VR-4 having low trap speeds that is well known. The VR-4 gains low E.T.s from low 60' times and a.w.d.blow the 60 ' and these cars are slow. There is a guy who posted here with a 94RT 5 spd.and he ran a 14.9X with just a u.d.p and flowmaster. He did this at Rockingham and had the timeslip to prove.Do I think my car really ran that #maybe, but probably not.Even if the 15.01 was in reality a 15.35 and I could reproduce it on a drag strip I would be a happy individual.Only time will tell.Mike

Hey, no doggin here, I wasn't saying anything against your car or you, just that I have never seen a Gtech time and a real life track time be one and the same. Even when my friend ran at Firebird raceway in his Spyder he did Gtech at the same time and it was still showing mid 12 second runs even tho the real time was 13.9-14.2. But as far as the statement about "my car will never be fast because its a 3.0 liter automatic", that may be true about the 3S's, but not all cars. My friends low 10 second 95 Supra will show you that, lol. Not to mention the ten other guys I know who have simple bolt ons like a downpipe and exhaust on their Supras and are running mid to high 12's. But yeah, turbo's kinda help get rid of that problem, eh? haha

Default Slow?

Mike you said:

I know the VR-4 gets good numbers due to the low 60' times, But
SLOW I dont think so.

Alpine,
95 Red VR-4
New Bridgestone S-02 Pole Position 245-40-18 tires
K/N air intake
H.K.S Turbo Exhaust
Stillen Down pipe (should be here tomarrow)
Not Slow!

Slow is all relative. I think that my car is slow, but that's because I've been around some BPU Supra's a lot. I go for a ride in a 12 second car and it feels really fast. But then a a 10 second car gets in the BPU supra, and its slow. It all depends what you are used to. There's plenty of 14 second pieces of rice that think their cars are really fast, even tho to some its not. A VR4 is really slow compared to what some people out there think is fast.
