OP's car used to belong to a guy in my general area. It was a one off thing he made himself, and sold the car like that. He lost the plans etc when his computer crashed long ago.

The car in the OP's post used to belong to MorfinX. Trent custom made everything when he was still at Baylor. They were true HID housings for both high and low beams. He had to cut into his headlight buckets as the HID projectors were too large to fit in the bucket.

I wish I would have kept some of the pics he showed me of the progress.

I've got a heat gun and lexan on order its going to take me a few more days after that to get started because we had some bad weather come through and a limb fell on my 93 base model stealth that I was going to use to mold the lights (I checked the lights are the same as the 3000gt's) so its at the body shop getting fixed. I really want to make a set up for the R/T stealths does any body have a set of 91-93 turn signals i can buy to use to make the molds?

Be prepared to spend in the $1000's. Trent spent $600+ (from memory) on the HID housings alone. He did all the R&D himself.

I'm probably getting a good discount since the owner is familiar with our Local 3s charter and a good friend.

But yeah its still gonna be real expensive.Not as much as doing the 99 convo I hope, I need new headlights.

Now, what about the 91-93 R/T's with the snake eye/turn signal combo? and the different bumper than the 3000's? I don't know about most but I know I would like to change my headlights but not if it means I have to buy a new bumper
