Dodge stealth es rear bumper question.

So i have a 92 ES which has single exhaust, but i want dual. so i was just wondering if i should cut out a outlet in the bumper or get replacement bumper.
has anyone cut that out or is just getting a RT bumper a much better idea? Please excuse my ignorance im very new to the scene. couldnt find anything about it on this forum

I'd say try to sell/trade with someone who is looking for what you want. Obviously the cheapest route would be to cut it.

If it were me, I'd keep the body stock and upgrade to an aftermarket single-shot.

You could do any of these things:

1. cut outlet in ES bumper, easy if you're careful.

2. replace ES bumper with any 3000gt rear bumper ( which would require buying 3000gt taillights and rear garnish and bolting them in, easily. )

3. replace ES bumper with a Stealth R/T rear bumper ( which would require buying an R/T rear bumper, R/T tails, and R/T center section. This is rather difficult and not really worth it, because you have weld in new taillight buckets to fit the R/T tails, as well as welding in a new mount for the bumper itself I believe - basically not a good option. )

.....that should cover your options.

P.S. - I chose option 2 with my car, along with some other things.

You do NOT have to weld in taillight buckets for the RT conversion. You only have to move the bumper mounting point.

All you have to do is remove the corner caps and thats where the RT tails mount.
