Just playin' man
can't believe this is the first time I've seen this thread. Nice work. Very nice work in fact. I love the way the line from the front fender follows up to the vent on the quarter panel- I didn't even notice that until I was looking at the in-progress pics you posted after it was done. Kudos for a job well done

Hehe, didnt mean that literally. The side view mirrors can be modified to an extent to fit on the present doors, but because of the widebody extension the mounting area becomes almost horizontal. The stem would become to tall in that case and it wouldnt look as good. Like i said earlier, im going with the F430 style mirrors this time.

And thank you for the Kudos

How much does the car weigh now?

Respect for the effort, but not my taste. Its like a 350z,Z06,NSX,and 3KGT had a foursome. I didnt read all 26 pages but, You might want to make some molds before someone smacks into it.

My vote is for a Solid color, it would give more attention to the body lines. Also NO MIRRORS use cameras and monitors.

windsma, the molds are already made, you might want to read a few more details about the build process. The car weighs approximately 50lbs more over stock due to the addon fibreglass panels over the doors, trunk lid and rear side panels... the bumpers and fenders are replacements.

Updates? I love the car but I'm glad you're getting new mirrors! I'm not a fan of the rear lights but it may look better once the car is painted white? Awesome work though, again I love it. I can only hope mine turns out a tenth as nice looking!

Very nice work, cant wait to see the final paint job. I think a solid color will look great. On the 99 lights, is it possible to change the color under the glass to match the car? That would look awesome!
I am also curious to see what you decide on the sails. I think the 99's look better on it.
