Well folks im back and guess what the hood, its still screwed up. I tried heating it. The body shop said it was a bad hood and there not going to screw with it anymore. Here are some pics. If this has happened to any hoods let me know how you fixed it. Ryan (cianci) tell me what you think we need to do. thanks

Ive actually never seen that before. I thought what you were talking about was a small indent.. That can happen on Composite hoods. That just looks like the hood was baked or was over heated, and it caused the area in which we can't put any inner support into to sag. I went over that hood before it was shipped to make sure it was fine.

Well, I'm fine with sending you another hood, and then having that one picked up. Or you can have them relgass the underside and then smooth out the top. Either way it's going to involve a repaint on the hood. I really don't think that is our fault, but I'm willing to exchange out that hood if it will make you happy..

IF you do exchange out the hood, run it unpainted on your car for awhile, and you will see that it wont suck in.. And it will go through thermal expansion over and over being on a hot engine and then sitting.

Ryan, I also have a quick one for you in this topic. I have my eyes set on the Victory also. I know there is a tendency for Fiberglass to want to return it's shape when exposed to high heat. Do you think I'm going to run into any issues due to extreme weather conditions? ( I live in Pheonix, so 120+ isnt uncommon in the summer...plus added engine heat, etc).

That's a strange spot to cave in at. What sits right underneath it that would cause it. It looks like it sits right above the coils. If anywhere, I was expecting to see either the very back or the front where the turbos sit, caved in. Either way, that sucks.

Looks to me it is where the thermostat housing/coolant fill cap sits. If anything (aside from the exhaust manifolds obviously) that is where it will be hottest. Put snow on your hood in the winter and see where it melts first, every time.

Well heres the thing if touch the hodd after driving hard it is cool. Because under where it is saggin is the ram air duct from the ram air scoop to the airfilter. So if anythnig was going to sag it would be the back, of the lower part of the ram air scoop.
