So... I had this idea to hold me over until I can afford a 99 front bumper. Note, I have a 2g 3000. Basically I want to cut out the little pieces that go across the side openings, and the little pieces that stick up into the middle section as well. Now I know just cutting them out would look silly, so of course I plan on fiberglassing over where the cuts would be to smooth them out and make them flush with the rest of the opening. Also, while I'm at it I plan on removing the license plate mount as well since I run my front in the window. To help picture what I plan on doing I did a little Photoshop work on a picture I found on Google. (Sorry if it's your car, like I said I found it on Google.) I also modified it to match my car better, basically I just attempted to make the hood black (Which I failed horribly at by the way.) and I filled in the Mitsu emblem on the front. Anyway, here you go:
So what do you guys think? I like it simply because it gives it a more open look, plus I hate the little cross pieces and pieces that stick up into the main opening. (On my car anyway, dunno why, I just don't like 'em on my car.) If you guys have got any other idea's just let me know, if possible I MIGHT make the main opening larger, as in taller, but I'm not sure how that would look. I'll probably whip that up in Photoshop while I'm waiting on replies. But yeah, any comments or idea's are more than welcome. (Wanted actually, why else would I post about it,

.)
