i have a 91 vr4 with 120,000 on the chassis and a supposed rebuilt engine with pry 30,000 miles on it and a newer tranny with less than 100,000 miles on it. also i hit a deer that dented the right fender, headlight, the hood a little from where the headlight got pushed back and also the corner of the front bumper. should i just fix the car or sell as is??? the drivers seat is worn and the active aero active exhaust and rear wiper dont work. so its basically a small project....would also needs new tires...
Hitting a deer isn't a "small project". Getting everything to line up propperly after an accident like that isn't easy. I got my vr4 for $4,800. It had the same mileage as yours, minus the accident and needs tires and stuff not working. So I'd say sell it for 3,000 or drive it and enjoy it.
Also super wrong section to post this. its ok though.
If the body was totally straight, with a few weak spots in the paint, and the interior in good condition with maybe the single hole in the drivers bolster, the car'd be worth close to 5k. Maybe higher if nice, lower if not so nice. With it having deer damage, probably in the 3k range, maybe less if you couldn't prove the engine rebuild. (I have receipts for all my engine work/new shortblock etc-and i doubt i'd get much more than 6500 for mine)
