Default Hood blister delete

Somewhere in the back of my memory I remember someone offering 1st gen hoods without the hood blisters. Basically 2g that fit the pop-up lights. Was I dreaming or does someone offer something like that? thanks!

There a few carbon fiber hoods that do not have the hood blisters. I am pretty sure Deft has them.

My first question would be why do you want to remove them? They were put there to give clearance for the top of the strut mount. You might go with a 95 or later model hood but they have that area raised as well for the same reason I'm not sure about fit with pop up lights though.

Well yes they are raised for a reason, and thats y the later models also have a raise there just not an entire blister. I saw the C/F hoods like that at deft and basically thats what i'm talking about just not C/F.

i believe that your options are either going to be to get a carbon fiber hood like that and just paint it, or just get a fiberglass one and do it. either way, you won't be able to tell what material it is other than the weight of course.

i've got a carbon fiber one, and i like it plenty.
