Default Flip Up Projectors Lat42?

Okay so first off, let me just say that I know this will require some custom work to do. I don't have a problem with that

My question is, has anyone ever retrofitted these parts into the flip up housings from a 1G?

I kinda liked the lat42 headlight conversion at first, but now I'm having seconds thoughts. I've seen a few 240SXs with pop up lights that have retrofitted projectors with HIDs for the low beams and reflector halogens for the high beams. Just imagine the low beam projector and the high beam positioned right next to each other (just as they are in Lat42's headlights) only inside the 1G flip ups instead of underneath that clear cover. Anyone ever done anything like this? Is there a better option for this? Say, like a Bi-Xenon type of headlights already made for the 1G flip ups?

See picture for reference...

I've seen some aftermarket lights for a 1G, but nothing that looks like this:

^^^ Something similar would be cool

The Lat42's lights aren't even being sold yet, are they? But dude, you're on to something. That looks pretty sick.

no so there's some waiting to be done in that respect, lol

Since Lat42 hasn't released them yet, I guess my question is more of: has anyone done something similar?

Yeah, but projector lights look good day and night. Unless you would drive around with these flip lights up during the day too? I have seen something similar just forgot where. I also saw someone make it look like 2 circle lights with a black vinyl cutout. lol.

Oh I see what you're saying. The main reason I was looking into projectors is so I can run HIDs without having ricey glare at night. Halogens just don't do it for me, they make the car look old I know my car is almost 19 years old, but still

I'm sure I seem pretty ricey wanting HIDs so badly, just throwing the idea around right now. I also saw an angel eyes conversion on 3SX...
H4 Headlight Conversions + Harness 91-93 3000GT/Stealth*-*Mitsubishi 3000GT*/*Dodge Stealth Parts

Can anyone confirm how these work with HID bulbs? glare or no glare?

you might wanna contact jb from blackflamecustoms to do a set for you(i know him from longislandsubaruclub when i had my wrx's he does awesome headlight conversion jobs). he can probably retrofit oem hid projectors like tl, tsx, e55 etc. into the stock flip ups. but bi-xenon dual projectors that sounds like way too much work.

single oem hid projector headlights will still look sick imo.

This is one of the things I've been considering for my next product. I have my stock lights sitting around, if I can fit 90mms in there and make them look nice I'll put together a reasonably priced conversion.

I'm also working on a front bumper and a 1g lip, but if you're serious OP I'll start working on it. Getting other people interested/commited will expedite the process.

I liked the lat42 headlight too at first..but having the 1g longer has really made the pop-ups grow on me. I do not want to get rid of them but I do want projectors. I can say for a fact that if some projector style or bi-xenon (if possible) develop they would be very high up on my to buy list.

I'm interested in the projector pop-ups, and the 1g lip. Especially a lip for a 1g stealth.

I'm too interested in the 1st g projector pop-ups. IMO that's the one feature I love about the 1g. Hell i always love the pop ups. If I could I'll put some on my Pontiac G8 GT.(lol).
