Default Decal Removal Help

Is there a way to remove the rear 3000GT decal without damaging the paint? I'm sure someone here has converted 3000GT to GTO or just debadged.

try heating it up and peeling it off. A blowdryer or heatshrink gun should do the trick

Kevin, get a plastic paint scraper/putty knife and put duct tape on it so it folds over the blade. A few layers and it shouldent scratch the paint and will help lift it off pretty good once you start to heat it up

there is a good chance there will be an outline after, to to cut polish it out, be careful, you can burn through the old paint very easily ! I did.. lol

Thanks for the help everyone. I was thinking heat gun or hairdryer but didn't want to risk damaging the paint. I'll give it a try sometime in the next couple weeks and take before & after pics to show how it turns out.
