how much would a candy color cost getting it painted professionaly? or if you attempted it yourself?

Most of your average painters who spray cars all the time don't like to spray kandy. It's a lot of work and really time consuiming and if you mess up after a couple of coats have already been sprayed you have to start all over again not to mention it would be a huge waste of money if a mistake was made and paint isn't cheap. I paid $500 for the paint alone, that was base coat, kandy paint, hardners, clear etc. So if you know how to paint well already you could attempt it yourself, but if you've never sprayed a car before I would not recommend it at all. Most shops charge between $5k -$7 for a car like ours. My painter would probably charge you $2k - $3k (that's including the price of the paint itself as well). He's located in Orange County, CA.

mmm. i think these cars look soo good sweet colors. they can really pull it off. (umm for everyone that is all about keepin their car stock...you didnt read this. lol. i know this is a touchy subject for many on this forum.) Heres a pic of the 3000GT I fell in LOVEEE with. I dont remember if it was a member on here but it is a HOK color. And it was for sale but outta my price range. He has a page on mycardomain or whatever that website is...

hope he doesnt mind me posting his pic but i didnt see it up here.
