Bump for these parts. The lower plastic, wheel well plastic, all brackets are in post #1 of this thread, however the SMIC ducting is still eluding me.

Yes they do, and I think you could find them for cheaper. It's usually guys who already have a stealth that do that though. The stealth lights are flat instead of bubbled, and also leave a small corner gap ... there's pics of the different setups on (I believe?) 3SX.com.

You can make the brackets, but honestly, at like $80 for all of them, it'll take a lot of test fitting, bending, drilling, stretching, and other nasty stuff. I'd just cough up the cash for them, it's complex curves.

OK, I have CAPS working and figured out how to use it (by getting a VIN ) ... but the part number it gives me, doesn't seem correct. For example, the 97-99 hoop spoiler center, it says 70401, but I tried 70401 and MR70401 and neither works. I'm guessing since it's a 5 digit number instead of 6? I tried leading and trailing zeroes, both with and without the MR in front. No luck.

Help?!

The 70401 is Mitsu CAPS internal number code. When you hit that OK button in the screenshot, after highlighting the part (70401) number, it will take you to the parts ordering screen which will show the actual part number (the ones preceded by M_ )

Hey guys,

So, for those of us unfortunate and dilusional enough to be attempting the somewhat more complex 1st Gen to '99 conversion, there are some differences. Namely, we need a hood (stock or aftermarket 94+), and although not entirely necessary, it has been STRONLGY suggested to me by a few people who have done the conversion that you also get the second gen headlamp buckets. Now, I have looked around at a few places for the buckets, but have yet to find them. Would someone who has done the conversion, or is more knowledgable about parts please let me know where I could find them?

Thanks,

-Devan

well, that was quick, simple and made me feel incompetant, thanks!

Is that the cheapest place? It seems 3sx is pricier in most cases....

LOL nah I just had it in memory. I did the 99 conversion on my 95, and a lot of people reference the 3SX site since it shows the stealth lights, keeping the 2nd gen lights, the 99 lights, and the changes necessary on the 1st gens too, etc.

The cheapest place I'd guess would be to find someone parting out a 94+ and see if they can cut that section off and send it to you. Particularly a junk yard near you where you could physically pick it up. It could be off a base, SL, VR4, doesn't matter.

There's usually 2 ways to do things, the cheap way, and the easy way. 3SX is more expensive but you get everything at once without hunting multiple places, shipping from different people at different times, etc. It's the price of convenience.
