Default '99 conversion on a GTO

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at doing a '99 conversion on a first gen GTO, and I was just wondering if anyone knows of any GTO specific issues I might encounter.

I know, I know "the GTO is identical to the 3000GT" sure, but not exactly. It's nearly identical, but there are some differences. Mainly very minor ones. Differences small enough not to notice until you're halfway through the conversion and they cost excessive time, money and sanity to fix.

If anyone has done the conversion on a GTO, or is greatly knowledgeable in the differences between the 3000gt and it's JDM counterpart, I would greatly appreciate the input...

Default Re: '99 conversion on a GTO

I have a 2gen gto and just installed the cianci novara front bumper and 99 headlights, no big deal.

since you have the 1gen you will have different headlight buckets

when you want to do the 99 conversion I'd suggest looking at CIANCI Performance - Quality Automotive parts for your vechile for the novara front bumper, it's certainly worth the extra cash, excellent product and ryan is great to deal with.

If you have a question just let me know
