99 Bumper ? - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

I just received a 99 bumper from cherry hill for my 95 TT. The bumper has this black trim in the middle upper. Just wondering is this normal as all the other 99s I see in the pictures do not appear to have this and their openings appear much larger.

Yes it is. People cut the black center part out to allow more airflow to a front mount intercooler.

Mine looks exactly like the one the guy is selling recently in the for sale section but ill post a pic. When I ordered from cherry hill on their website it said 99. Yeah just wanted to make sure I could cut that part out without ill effects. so it does not how the bumper to frame or just not needed?

Putting in the oohnoo Dual Core FMIC and want as much air and the look! .

That black piece covers the crash bar.

Some cut some don't, I didn't. it's hard to notice because blends in.

Crash bar can be removed correct?

Site listed for $341 plus 17 shipping.

I get a call the next day and email stating shipping will be 117.00 WOW!

So i paid 458.00 WOW! Was a little pissed but they claim that shipping went up and size of item made it that. BS i say.

Oh well I got bump now.
