Default Re: 2gen headlights on a 1gen?

Keep looking in the wrecking yards for your parts as well as craigslist and Ebay. So far with '99 conversion, I have:
Headlights/turnsignals from craigslist $600 (needed buffing)
F. bumper cover from Ebay $249 shipped
Headlight buckets and upper rad support from a local wrecking yard for $120

If you do not have to buy new, I wouldn't.

Also, there are 21 spot welds per side. Once removed the entire upper support lifts away from the car. Best to start practicing on your newly purchased piece before moving onto your own car.
