Exclamation Tranny

i have an 1996 3000GT SL it is currently automatic but i want to make it manual. if im going to switch the whole tranny does it matter is if its one from 1995 or 1997? or all they all the same and i can put any in there?

They are all the same from what I've read. I do know that I have a '94 trans in my '96 if that helps any. I would try to stick to your gen though just to be safe.

They'll ALL mount up no problems. The 91/92 use a different sized halfshaft than the 93-99. But if you get the shafts with the tranny, then all should be ok.
