haha, well I am not married, and don't have any children and when I went out I couldn't hear a thing when I pushed the ECS button. I tried just turning the car on and pushing the button and nothing, no lights that say tour or sport on the dash and nothing that sounds like a motor kicking on. I decided to start the car and see if there was anything different and it was the same deal.....Any suggestions?

try driving it and touching the button, and drive over a manhole cover, in tour you won't feel it much, in sport you'll be able to read the writing on the plate in braile on your ass.

If the car doesn't soften the suspension noticeably, its likely stuck in sport as a flashing light would indicate. One of the more common ways for the ecs to stop working is when someone leans on one of the shock towers in the engine bay. Its real easy to do...almost everyone automatically puts their hand on one when reaching over the motor. Leaning on it can cause old brittle wires to crack and stop working. Getting new caps is the cheap solution, replacing struts is the expensive solution.

I popped the covers off the top of the struts and all of the wires looked to be in pretty good shape. Its just strange how the tour or sport mode lights don'e come on at all...

You may want to test each connector and wire to make sure current goes thru each connection, even though the wires look good they could still be cracked inside the insulation, heat and time have a way with old wires.

not sure myself, i'm a moron with a multi-meter. But replacing my caps didn't fix my own, but i know when they went bad, and it was when the blisters were off the car and i was playing paintshop.

haha, that happens some...i guess I will go out with a multi-meter and see what I can come up with, or if one side has power to one that the other side doesn't...maybe i will find something strange and be able to fix it.

I have recently purchased a 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T and I am having an issue with my ECS. On the dash it says sport mode with a steady green. But when I push the ECS button, nothing happens. Th dash doesn't change nothing. It just stays the same. Any thaughts. All help would be appreciated.
