Ok so a few weeks ago my car became very hard to get into gear (ie impossible to get in) After messin around and clutching a bunch I can get it in pretty easily and it will shift from one gear to the next without much issue but when I come to a stop and have to go into first again it once more is an issue. So deciding that the car is in danger I stopped driving it and switched to the gixxer as my DD.
Alil more info.
While the car is off I can get into every gear very easy and very smooth. I had my step dad pump the clutch and I watched the slave move the clutch forks. My clutch is a stage 3 south bend on an N/A motor (givin ya an idea of power lol not a ton) and its still a soft soft pedal and clicks at very specific point when becoming engaged (from the pedal not the bay) the clutch fluid is full I tried to bleed the clutch but the bleeder hex is stripped and I can't unscrew it, still using stock shift cables and stock shifter assembly. Tranny fluid changed during engine rebuild (bout 5k ago)
I don't really have any more info I think I gave everything. What could be the issue causiong me to not be able to get into gear?
slave cylinder or a hole in the clutch line. put your car over a dry part of the driveway and pump the clutch pedal 15-20 times. then look under the car and see if there is fluid on the ground. if there is find out where its coming from. if there are no leaks anywhere blead your clutch fluid. if that doesnt work go buy yourself a clutch slave.

hunny, PLEASE all i hear is "blah", ok? in one ear and out the other....
1. Does temperture make a difference. Does it get worse after everything warms up or gets hot?
2. Where does the clutch engage? peddle right at the floor, in the middle or more to the top.
3. Can you shift it with it running and with the clutch peddle engaged halfway or a little more but not with it too the floor?
4. Try this on perfectly flat smooth ground. With the car running, in first gear and clutch fully pushed hold the rpm's around 3k and see if the car wants to creep forward.
Either:
a. your clutch isn't adjusted properly, or
b. you have a bad syncro.
Possible cures or causes for a.
adjust or bleed,
replace old fluid,
replace line going to slave cylinder is old and bubbling,
something is leaking
slave or master cylinder is going bad.
B. means tranny rebuild or maybe try syncromesh.

1. Not really. When cold and when warm its the same deal.
2. Honestly I have no clue I've driven many manual cars and none feel like my 3k by far. Say for instance my buddy's 240sx with a stage 3 I feel his clutch engage like right at 1/4 from the top. Mine I don't feel it catch at any one point so would that mean the floor? I also have a stage 3 clutch (as stated previously)
3 and 4 I will try tomorrow I normally do not fuck around with half clutching and shit like that lol but will do for the sake of diagnosis.
thats how i got mine around with no 1st gear synchro until 2nd went.
Actually by force of habit I've always shifted 2nd then 1st but both ways have always worked (going from neutral to 1st and the stated way) but just one day like last week after letting the car sit for about 4 days it just has not shifted into either with ease.
Umm also not previously stated was during that 4 day idle time of not moving at all the temp did drop a good 15+ degrees going from scalding hot florida heat to nice hoody weather which I start needing at about 70 degrees. Not sure if this could have anything to do with the price of poo but hell every detail right?
Alright so I took the car for a drive today and I was able to shift into gear far easier and the temp outside was pretty warm compared to the day when I first noticed the issue.
So I tried that clutch in rev in 1st and it didn't creep at all. Also it won't shift with half clutch pedal.
So is this leanin more towards the slave than anything?
