Default Clutch master/slave cylinders...Part II?

Seems to me I've been through this before...!

My clutch pedal suddenly went to the floor this afternoon, and although it springs back up, it has like zero resistance, and I can't shift gears. No amount of pumping makes a difference; it is gone.

I didn't have a chance to check the firewall by the clutch pedal for fluid, but I did notice the reservoir looked empty. There's a line on the side of the reservoir, and although I didn't open it, you could see there didn't appear to be any fluid showing.

Replace the master and slave, I take it? I have a SS braided clutch line I was going to use on the 'old' TT, to replace this one with. I had it hauled to a friend's house with a shop with a lift, and didn't have time to check for fluid puddled on the transmission or leaking by the firewall near the clutch pedal.

Or is it more likely that one of the clutch lines failed? The only time I have had an issue, was when racing about a month ago, couldn't get it to shift 1-2 or 2-3 without a whole lot of grief. I thought it might've been the IC piping shifting slightly under boost and interfering with the shifter linkage cables, and I zip-tied the piping up so it wouldn't rub against the linkages under boost. But I had not had the chance to run it hard since my ziptie "fix" so I don't know if that was really the problem or not.

Could've been the problem first surfacing, although just as likely to have been the IC piping rubbing.

The only problem I have had with the car lately, under normal, daily driving use, is it has been runnning rough, like there is a serious vacuum leak someplace. It surges when you first start up, a rhythmic, pulsing idle, up and down, until it warms up and changes mode, and cuts off when you first start a few times until you get going. It has also been tending to drop RPM's and die when coming up to a stop sign. It started happening in conjunction with the idling issues, which makes me think it's a vacuum leak, perhaps?

Could this be related?

I figured that.

I ordered both the master and slave from Autozone yesterday, should be here today. Now, if I can just get them replaced before ECG...
